I agree! There's nothing like fried turkey or some fried grits!

MMMMM, KFC
Ever since I found out the number of calories/fat grams that are in a 2 piece extra crispy meal, I haven't been able to eat it since.

The Fried Coke Thing
See when I went to the North Carolina State Fair in Raleigh, they said that the Fried Coke thing was when they took regular funnel cake batter and instead of mixing it with water they made it with Coco Cola, and just fried it the way you normally make a funnel cake...and then drizzle the syrup and powdered sugar and whatnot over it. It sounded like a heart attack on a plate topped with diabetes (sp) so I didn't try it, but I heard it was good...while I ate my elephant ear and candy apple(s)...

Fried Pizza
And this place is in NY, not the South.

I have also heard of fried candy bars (Mars, Snickers). That came from Ireland.
