Ahhhhh yes. Finally, USC's overrated ass gets exploited. Get ready, because yall are going to lose to Cal and Notre Dame too.

Steve Smith is really, really good though. Almost 300 yards receiving. The number of times a receiver has had a day like that in a losing effort could probably be counted on one hand.

I agree. This is a good thing.

Nebraska's overrated ass was also exploited today -- yet another good thing.

Overall, I'd have to say it was a pretty good Saturday.

OU finally looked like they should today. First time I have seen yalls defense play worth a damn this year..........and Allen Patrick is a very good running back.

Patrick has great accelleration.

What worries me is the way they're handing the ball off to him. He gets this running start and then they pitch the ball backwards to him. Makes me nervous every time I see it. It's well suited to his running style because it lets him take advantage of his accelleration, but risky.

I missed the Texas vs. Tech game today.. working on a brief. It looked like a hell of a game from all of those red/orange lines across my ESPN screen.

Our game was one of the more crazy that I have seen. We got down 21 nothing after the first quarter.....their qb Graham Harrel was better than perfect....i've actually never seen a qb perform like that in a half. They run that Playstation2 style offense so its easy for them to rack up yards. I think he had 367 passing in the first half. We cut it to 31 21 at half.......and then adjusted nicely and held them scoreless and to around 150 yards in the second half. Colt McCoy had another great game, 21 of 31 with 4 touchdows. Tech had -1 rushing yards for the game, ,but that doesn't really surprise me.

We played pretty poorly I thouhgt, 1 interception for a TD and three fumbles....so it was a pretty ugly day.

If Peterson goes pro, Colt should be a shoe-in for Heisman next year.

He is a pretty special player.....he reminds me alot of Major Applewhite when he was a freshman. Tons of poise and composure....can run really well, throws a great football, and is damn smart. He is playing was beyond his age/grade. I didn't even realize it till today.....but he is only 2 passing TDs off the all time Texas record.....and we've still got atleast 4 more games. He's going to shatter it.
