Guuuuurl, you ain't NEVER lied!! I am so feeling you! But, my theme for 2002 I guess would be
"Take Care of Me, Then Worry About the Rest. This means putting myself first--amking sure that I am doing well in all aspects of my life, in this order:
1.) Spirituality (Getting Closer to God)
2.) Emotional/ Mental Health
3.) Physical Health
4.) My "Me Time"
5.) Academics
6.) Family
7.) Politics
8.) Social
I have a BAAAAADDDD habit of prioritizing in the following order: #5, 6, 7, 8, 3, 2, then 1--and that is SO WRONG!!
I need to put myself first before I can begin to help others...
It took me a while, but I'm learning (and will continue to do so for the rest of my days since learning IS a never-ending process)...
