Thanks to ufdale, I'm signed up to get one of the sweatshirts that my Beta Tau collegiates are ordering - for $25! They're maroon with white letters and SO cute! They ordered them last year and I admired them at recruitment, and now they're reordering!
For the alumnae: Does your collegiate chapter let you know when they're ordering things at a discount? (sweatshirts, bags, etc.) Do you think it would be silly of me to ask them to add me to the mailing list? I still wear letters, although not as often as I did in college, and as a former t-shirt chair, I have a deep appreciation for a cute tee!

I don't think it's silly. You probably wouldn't want event T-shirts, but general SK wear comes in handy!

haha I'm DYING for an anorak (windbreaker in UF's colors that says sigma Kappa and my name). It seems like EVERY sorority girl has one... I think they're cute too. I just have to convince my boyfriend or parents for Christmas...

You might mention that to Kelly, and then drop her your parents' phone number. For Brooke's initiation, I arranged to get her one of those windbreakers as an initiation gift from her mom. Her mom paid me back later. And actually, Chris can take credit card #s over the phone (I should know ), so all Kelly would have to do is pick it up and give it to you!

I think my bf will get me one... we're both pledging together so he knows how much sorority stuff means to me. My mom wants to get me my badge for an early gift!

Tom never did show up here. Like OTW said, SK's aren't on his radar.

I've seen a couple threads where someone refers to their DH. I'm racking my brain to think if it was different posters or always the same person. I surmised it was their husband/boyfriend but I can't think of what DH stands for. ???

Hair Transplant. It's lampooning the AI threads.
My big SK want is a Fleece. Probably black with lavendar lining and embroidery. My chapter promised to include me on the order and then left me out. I was sad

Ooh I think greekgear does North Face fleeces and I'm trying so hard not to get one. They're really nice. Also I haven't ordered my letters yet because I keep forgetting. I have a memory like a sieve without my Concerta.
