I went to a biz markie show years ago thinking he was going to perform his old school hits (albee square mall, biz goin' off, make the music, etc.), but he just spun records the whole night. he said they don't pay him enought to perform. I was a little disappointed, but it was good to see him.

He was a DJ for this party I went to in 1995. He just talks over the records but everyone pretty much knew that he was always a better DJ (in the traditional sense of spinning records and talking to get the crowd hype) than a rapper.
