ITT we see how long it takes before Tom Earp shows up

I'm just curious to see if Earp peruses all the GLO forums too.

In other news I have stalled on ordering a new set of letters. Partly because of money and partly because I'm still unsure of what colour combo I like.

What are your favourite colour combos everyone?

I still like the patterns I showed you. My sweatshirts have polka dots on them, and I have one with Hello Kitty letters.

Color combos for my org's symbols? The colors we use are specified and we don't use patterns. So we don't have much to choose from in terms of color combos and that's a good thing.

But I absolutely HATE black paraphernalia so I would say any black piece of clothing with a DST reference on it, or seeing the symbols outlined in black, makes me cringe.

My favorite color combo is the basic Crimson and Cream--or red and khaki substitute. I rarely do the red and white substitute but I have on occasion.

My fav letter combo is actually my AXE letters. Gray shirt, red back letters, and a sparkly shooting star top letters.

I do need a new SK sweat shirt. Mine is showing some major signs of age.

That's interesting. Any reason for the dislike of black? I tend to like it because stains don't show up on it so it looks nicer longer.

I like the sound of the shooting star top letters. I have a grey hoodie with white background and maroon top letters. Both family and school colours.
I'm always dubious about patterns for letters. You never know if they'll look horrible or really nice in RL.

I'm wearing a white hoodie with Red Sox letters on them. Problem is, it's uncomfortable because all the fluffy goodness inside washed out, hence the need for a new one for winter.

I have the classic grey hoodie with Marroon on white letters. But we didn't do a lot of stitched letters in my chapter so that's all I have.

That's how I am too. If I'm going to spend money on it I want to make SURE that they will look good. To ensure that I went and bought fabric and took it somewhere to get the letters made. That way I knew how they would look.

Ooooh so we all got our first block letters last weekend! There were some I was drooling over. They don't sell Vera Bradley fabric, but they sell napkins or scarves (not sure which) and a lot of girls had their letters made out of that fabric. SOOO CUTE! I don't even like Vera Bradley purses, but the fabric looked amazing on block letters.

BTW I think Tom's posts are usually relevant to the topic and I like reading them.

It's okay, you'll learn about Tom soon Sometimes he's on topic but most of the time he's spouting incomprehensible crap.

I've seen some fabrics for Louis Vuitton and Coach which really amused me. I bet the Vera Bradley looked great.

Ooo that sounds really pretty. A possible combo to add to the list.
