Well, not lack of my knowledge. I would think that would be more along the lines of "lack of existance".

So you would maintain that anything you do not see does not exist? You trust only your own eyes? Your lack of knowledge has no effect on the reality of a thing.

While I think that there is always going to be abuse of the forums, removing the list helps to alleviate this.
