Why they do my man O like that? At least McNulty kinda knows he doesn't do civillians...This should be interesting

I don't think Namomd has the heart to be on the streets and I don't think he really wants to. Can I call Social services on his Momma? She is a piece of work she truly is.

You know, if I didn't know this season had already been shot, I would have thought they ripped the election story straight from the recent DC mayoral race.

Both Namond and his momma were pissing me the hell off! I was glad when Brianna cut off their supply and said "I don't give a damn about Avon!"

I wanted Tony Gray to win the election. Only because he looks like one of my frat, though. lol

Namond's mom is the the pits. Why cant she get a job? Why cant she go out and hustle? I find it interesting that she only has one child and it was with a dealer. That must have been her hustle. Namond is having mixed feelings about hustling. The actor who plays Namond is a cute young fellow.

Im glad Carcetti won. I hope he really gets with that slimy guy who took his $20,000 and still endorsed the mayor. That guy is slime. But Carcetti better keep it in his pants or he will have a major scandal on his hands.

I really dont appreciate seeing an episode of The Wire without seeing Snoop and Proposition Joe. They are soooo wild to me.

I'm glad someone is helping Doukie, but why didnt any of his black teachers care enough to try to help him too? I think that is really awful.

Why does the actor who plays Omar strike me as someone who has a close personal relationtionship with weed? His eyes are always yellow-y/red. Now I've heard of character acting, but he is taking a thang too far.

^^^ LMAO @ a close relationship with weed. I'm acquainted with his publicist -- not that he would tell me such a thing, but I always assumed it was jaundice or fatigue, lol.

Most of the actors on the Wire has played a role at one time or another on Law and Order. (always street roles)

I was thinking the same thing about Weebay's baby momma, aka Namonds momma...she need to get off her lazy azz and get a job. Making that child sell drugs, telling him he won't drop out of school - yet. WTH?

Glad Carcetti won, now will he make good on his promises to clean the city up? And he def better watch out for Rep. Clay Davis....he had ties with Stringer Bell/Avon. So getting in bed with him is not a good thing.

Can they PLEASE bring Avon back? I am so sick of Marlo. He acts like he's running things when Chris is really the mastermind behind the whole operation. Marlo is like his little puppet.

Oh yeah, and I am so curious to see what's up with Cutty and the boy that ran away when he saw him coming. Plus why was he telling Michael to look at the lady at his gym...he kept saying she was fine and stuff, like he was trying to make himself believe it.

Just got to watch the show last night, so I have been avoiding this thread!

The election story line is actually ripped from a Baltimore mayoral race. The Carcetti candidate is actually Irish....O'Mally I think? BUt of course Simon et al say that the character is not based on the current mayor. I think I read that O'Malley is now running for governor or some other statewide office

Everyone is scarred of Omar.......... And that cop is dirty anyways. Namomd does not have the heart and will end up getting killed over a package. I mean when they showed it in the end, he hadn't even touched it, not even sold one bag (don't ask)...... Plus he grew up wanting for nothing because dad was all in the hustle and respected in the streets. Therefore, this boy just wants to be a kid and there is nothing wrong with that, but you better get a job. I can't believe, well yeah I can, that she went through all that money. In two years, she had to receive like 2 million as a payoff. And she has nothing to show for it.... oh well.

Carcetti won because he hustled and on top of that, he was right. After a while all you can hope for is change, but to settle for the same ole thing ain't gonna work. I'm glad this is coming out this time of year. Everyone remember this when they are in that booth voting.

The fact that that cop took Old Face Andre's ring off of Omar is going to come back to bite him in the butt! Everyone is scared of Omar on the outside because he is so deadly with a gun, but on the inside....I bet many of the other inmates are people that Omar robbed.

I've watched the rest of this season(bootleg of course) and there will be some surprises in store..some SAD moments

Season 5 is suppose to be the last season.
