Monique Wayne is suing the rapper for making false statements that she raped him.
Friday, October 13, 2006
Troubled rapper DMX is facing a legal battle with the mother of his two-year-old "lovechild," after he told a magazine she had conceived the tot after "raping" him.
In 2004, Monique Wayne successfully sued the hip-hop star, real name Earl Simmons, after a DNA test proved he was the father of her baby son following a one-night-stand in 2003.
However, Simmons told Sister 2 Sister magazine last month that Wayne had sexually assaulted him while he slept in a hotel following a concert in Washington DC.
He said, "She raped me... DNA says it is (my child). I don't know... If I did (have sex with her) I would remember. It ain't like she's a pretty girl."
Following his claims, Wayne, 26, filed suit in Prince George's County Circuit Court in Upper Marlboro, Maryland Thursday, claiming the rapper had defamed her and made false statements, and is seeking $6 million in damages.
Her lawyer Stephanie Moran says, "Miss Wayne's been completely ostracized. She's had to answer questions from friends and family members. You have reporters as far away as Ireland commenting on this.
"Then DMX turns around and accuses her of being a rapist. That's a serious allegation."
DMX did not name Wayne directly in the article, but the “lovechild” scandal has widely been reported in the media following the original court battle between the two.
This is the latest in a string of legal troubles for the rapper - his most recent being on Monday when his car was impounded in New York after police found he was driving without a valid license for the state.

The best thing that could happen is that the judge takes away whatever money he has left and put it all in trust for his kids before he smokes it all away.

I hope that she takes him to the cleaners for his statements. And I can't believe that silly rabbit that he calls a wife BELIEVES that nonsense. They deserve on another. Talk about a woman desperate to have a man...

Mystery Solved
She's mad that Aretha Franklin sang "Until You Come Back to Me (That's What I'm Gonna Do)"
Monday, October 9, 2006
Soul legend Gladys Knight is still bitter her pal Stevie Wonder didn't ask her to record "Until You Come Back to Me (That's What I'm Gonna Do)" after she spent hours perfecting the classic song with him.
Knight sang the song for Wonder as he was writing it on the road - and then he gave it to Aretha Franklin.
The singer recalls, "(Stevie and I) were on tour together, and he used to make me come and sing every day after the show.
"I would say, 'Stevie, we just got done with a show and we've got four more to do (this week),' but he would be like, 'Oh, come on, Gladys. Just sing this part.'"
Months later, Knight was horrified when she heard the tune on the radio: "I hear Aretha Franklin singing, 'I'm gonna rap on your door...' I said, 'You've got to be out of your mind. What happened to my song?
"Everytime I would see Stevie, I would tell him... Nobody talks about that song."

Nope, not LL. Look at that white do-rag. He has braids. LL has N-E-V-E-R had hair. LL has been bald since the day before forever.
