It's more likely Jae jumped on his own. In the traditional Asian culture, it is better to end one's life rather than live with a lifetime of humiliation.

And sleeping with another man's wife & getting busted (or so he thought) as well as her father (who is in business with his own dad) would be a great humiliation. I think this is likely just b/c he was holding the strand of pearls that he gave to Sun. Kind of like his last thoughts were of her before he jumped.

Then the jerk should've married her to begin with instead of marrying the other chick. But I love Jin...

I kind of think that Jin is the father even though the doctor said he couldn't have kids and Sun cheated on him for this reason - Everyone that came to the island with some kind of "condition" got the miracle they needed - Locke can walk, Rose was healed, Sun is pregnant... My friend's theory is that the build up of magnetism had something to do with it. I don't know, but if Jin's not the father I'll be crushed.
