i finally got an email from the woman i had interviewed with a couple of weeks ago... she's a wedding coordinator - and i just received my certificate in special event and meeting planning, a few months ago through extended education.

anyways, she told me that while she is still conducting interviews for the receptionist position (entry level - hey, you gotta start somewhere!) she was really impressed with my interview and wants me to work 2 weddings with her this weekend!!!

ohmigod, i'm SOOOOO excited! say a few prayers for me, since i've never worked a wedding before, in my life (thankfully she knows and understands this) and that i'm able to impress them even more with my work!

i have some good news too!!!

i was offered a part-time entry level position with the wedding coordinator that i worked for this weekend!! once the wedding season starts booming again, i'll be full-time and hopefully trained (she told me after 6 months, i'll be able to move up) for a wedding coordinator position!

I just accepted a job with a dairy promotion organization in Philadelphia! I'm moving in a couple weeks - anyone know anyone who needs a roommate??
