Definitely an awesome twist ending too. Did Olivia DeHavilland ever play a "bad guy" in any other movie? She was not originally cast in that role (Joan Crawford walked off the set during the original filming), but given her snow white screen persona she was the perfect one to turn out to be the unexpected evil character.
Oh, yeah! LOVE that movie!! The first time I watched it, I was in 7th grade and had to for my creative arts class. We were studying the history of movie makeup and special effects... gotta love that head!
OMG, I can't believe I let that one slip! I am a dirty little girl... I guess that's what absence of husband does to my brain. It was still a great scary movie (to stay on topic).
