I didn't post this earlier, but Buffy had a lump that quadrupled in size over the summer. It was removed today, and praise the Lord, it was non-cancerous!! Unfortunately, he could enter a contest as "FrankenDog" in the meantime. They shaved half of his back of his head & neck, and his ear, and he has about nine stitches (it's hard to get him to stay still enough to count)!

He's doing well, but with all of us sick, we would greatly cherish his having a short and perfect recovery. We had to put baby mittens on his feet, and wrap a t-shirt around his neck since he can't wear an Elizabethean collar.

I'm grateful to hear that it wasn't cancerous! I'll keep you both in my thoughts today.

Please keep my family in your prayers. My paternal grandfather isn't doing too well. He's 87, has lukemia, and was just put into the hospital with an infection. I know that his time with us is drawing to an end and I'm okay with that. However, my aunts, uncles, father and step-grandmother seem to all be in total denial. When my grandfather does pass, there will be total chaos because my aunts and uncles seem to want the $.10 that he has. There is just a bunch of other stuff that will happen when he does pass away. Things will effect my father greatly. Please pray to help ease the pain of my family members. Thanks!

Please keep some sisters in your prayers. I don't want to go into details, but they need our thoughts and prayers for the family issues going on.

Exclamation

My mother's best friend, Jean, is really, truly one of the true servants of the Lord - an angel walking among us. I just got a phone call that Jean had a heart attack yesterday. There had been some drama (spare me from geriatric Drama Queens!!), with one woman actually yelling at Jean - who never, ever raises her voice, and it has been worrisome. So much so that I called her son the other night, to let him know what was going on (all of children live out of town). Frankly, I worry that this could harm my mother, too, as they have been truly close for about 40 years!

Other than my own mother, I could not ask more sincerely for prayer! Would y'all please, please be so kind to pray for Jean, that she would have a complete healing?
