The only thing I can't see is how you'd put dangles on it. But are they completely passe now?

In all honesty, I really don't like the new guard. I definately prefer my guard with my chapter letters.
I guess the one good thing about this type of guard would be for the sisters who affiliate. So many more sisters are going to one school, joining and then for personal reasons, transferring and affiliating. If they feel bonds to both chapters this guard would help them out because you wouldn't be able to have two guards.

I think there is a misunderstanding- at the top of the "stick" will be the chapter letters... and there will still be a chain that connects it to the badge... so dangles can still be worn and you can still see which chapter the sister is from...

Couldn't you also get one with a crest, instead of the chapter letters? I do believe that is an option with the chain-only guard...

I can't remember the last time I received my Adelphean. No matter how many times I change my mailing address on PO, somehow, they still send them to my home address... and considering I go home like twice a year.. MAYBE three times, it makes me sad

I know that there are multiple databases, which don't all communicate with one another. I'll PM the email address you can use to ask someone to change your address so that you receive the Adelphean.

Call EO and talk to someone there. They can not only change your address but they'll put one in an enevelope and mail it to you.
That happened to me this past year, with all the moving I did, it just got lost in the mail with all the forwards. I waited like two-three weeks (which was really long everyone had theirs and I just wanted mine), called EO told them I didn't receive my Adelphean, they verified the address and then mailed me one. Ironically, I had the one they mailed me within like 4 days (yeah made a whole lotta sense).

I have a crest guard on my one pin. It was on a pamphlet for available pins, but this was several years ago.
