I read it, and I thought it was a fairly weak analogy -- long on emotion and short on logic -- which is why I was curious about the source. Yes, you said you were "passing it along," but you didn't say from where -- one can pass along emails and one can pass along news stories and columns. I was curious if it came from someone who is usually worth paying attention to, in which case I might have given it a little more consideration (not much, but a little) or if it came from some "pass it along" email, which as a rule I ignore and delete.
