what do you mean by stand out? I hear that alot, and about the discretion thing. I've already talked a little to the ladies of the chapter here, but sometimes I get so worried about 'discretion' I don't even run to go and say hi or nothing, because I don't want to look to 'desperate.' What is it they are looking for?

*disclaimer* I am not part of the D9. My advice is made based on years of reading GreekChat.

The D9 believe fully in discretion so you will not likely get straight forward answers here. You'll be encouraged to talk to members that you actually know. If you don't currently know members, go to their service events. Be sincere. Be involved. Your dedication will demonstrate your interest. Your involvment will let you get to know the women better. When the chapter has an interest/informational meeting, attend and there you can ask your questions.
