you better believe i am making plans for initiation!! and the new members don't even know when it is.

i cried when i learned that she would be attending a pref. party at zta. after that i had a feeling that she would be my sister.

she is one lucky girl-for a small school they have a very strong greek system and wonderful chapters from which to choose.

That is SO Amazing!!!! I realize this is coming late, too, but I am so happy for you and your daughter!
I am so glad she also got to pref my AMAZING sorority, AOPi & I am so glad she found a home in ZTA. All of the Zetas I know are absolutely incredible women and I know she is going to have an amazing time. That is so wonderful that you get to experience this together! <3

an update
thursday i flew into birmingham and attended my daughter's initiation!! i was invited to participate in the ceremony! it was such a beautiful experience-one i hope that many of you will be able to experience some day.

no, the past president will be graduating and did not take a little....but my daughter was fortunate enough to get TWO big sisters. because quota was lower this year than last, and all the sophomores wanted littles, they decided that a few of the new members would get two big sisters. i think that this is a very diplomatic solution to what could have been a sticky situation.

she was having a hard time deciding which girl to list as her #1 choice-so she was beyond thrilled at the big sister revealing to discover that she had both girls as bigs!! we took them to lunch on friday and both girls are wonderful-i couldn't be happier for her.
