Delta Tau Delta is recolonizing at both Kansas and Michigan this year.
Both chapters were closed in 2001, I believe.

Congrats! Ours(ADPhi): Brandeis (24 men), Northeastern(25 men), UNH (28 men before rush) Duke (50+men) Pretty happy as NE chapters tend to be smaller anyway.

Union College KY
Since I'm originally from Barbourville, KY (where Union is located) and my mother, aunt and uncle went to Union I thought I'd comment. Union has never had IFC/NPC/or locals in the last 40 years if ever to my knowledge. This school has just under 600 undergrads in a town of 3,000. Most of the students I would classify as commuter students.

Pi Kappa Alpha colonizing at U. of Minnesota
Apparently the Pikes still own a house near campus, according to the article in the October 13 '06 Minnesota Daily. That might make a successful return to the school a little easier.

My husband just received word that the Delt chapter that he helped found at Stephen F. Austin State is re-colonizing this weekend.

Just to clarify the confusion about AEPhi.
Nationally AEPhi uses the term "Jewish sorority" not "historically Jewish sorority" though we do not consider ourselves a religious organization. Since AEPhi was founded as a result of discrimination against Jews it has never required members to be Jewish because we don't want to practice discrimination ourselves. Chapters obviously should be familiar with our Jewish background and history but chapters are not required to be a certain percentage Jewish or anything like that. We have chapters with very few or no Jewish members and that is fine with national organization.
In terms of USC I would be super excited if we recolonized there. It was our Xi chapter and was our second chapter out west and our first chapter in California.

Sigma Chi's Colony at University of Tennessee-Martin will receive their charter this January.
Sigma Pi has announced that they will be establishing a colony at Florida State this spring. This will be a re-charter. They have been off campus since 2001.

Delta Chi was selected to colonize at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi in fall 2007. KA Order and Chi Phi also presented. Expansion has not occurred since the original colonization of the campus in Fall 1998. Our campus population has nearly doubled since then, so it's about time!

Wow... I'm surprised with how few men a lot of these colonies are chartering with. I'm in the new Sigma Pi colony at K-State, and we won't be allowed to charter until we have 67...
