OTW... I wasn't aware that a member had had an issue. That is really sad that a chapter wouldn't see this for what it is...
And to be honest... the "stories" are so filled with fluff these days that most of the time I really don't think that it would hurt to reveal.
Once GC got wind of what happened to this PNM, "DISCRETION IS KEY" kept sounding like a broken record. GC readership has definitely grown since then (I want to say that this was in 2001 or 2002, can't remember), and with that, someone's going to get offended. That's something you just can't control. GC's a pretty powerful thing...it could definitely affect a PNM's chances of getting a bid. The same can be said about AI as well. (But that's for another thread)

In a perfect world, all rush stories would be like Curly's.

I feel like it doesn't really matter who was which code name in the end. Girls do the code name thing to avoid identifying chapters they maybe didn't click with (just in case a member of that sorority or even that chapter might get offended). It has happened before. It's probably best that they don't anyway. I think if you really want to know, ask them via PM.

I'd love to see what the girls that go through rush at a campus that has SDT think about us, but I can understand why they don't go back and say who is who.

I understand why they might not want to identify which code name went with what particular chapter, mainly for the reasons you all have stated above. The important thing is that they tell us what eventually happened (i.e. where they ended up pledging, or whatever)!

I'd rather not say publicly. Check your PMs though.

I agree with Buttonz. I'd LOVE to know what we did right or wrong, but in the end, it's nobody's business but the PNM's.

Also, and this may just be an ADPi thing, there are chapters where too many recs is worse than none at all. Frankly, I think that one strong rec, and maybe a letter of support is vastly superior to 4 recs that say essentially the same thing.
