Yeah, skirts are just soooo much more comfortable to me, esp. in the heat. I range from just above the knee to ankle length, though.

I tend to buy knee length or just below the knee for both casual and work. This isn't intended to sound insulting, but I can't picture a cute ankle length skirt. I just have visions of Amish women with their little bonnets and long skirts....haha.

I wear a lot of flowing peasant skirts. Kinda like below. However, I'm almost 6 ft tall, so long skirts on me are very different from an average height or petite woman.
Shorter skirts for me would be more like this.

Those are much different (and cuter) than I was envisioning!

I love the black and white one above! I couldn't pull off those shoes, but I *wish* I could.
I also wear a lot of skirts. Just below the knee are best for me.
(the rhyme was accidental)

Wait! I lied! I do have one longer-than-knee-length skirt, and it's the most gorgeous thing EVAR.
ETA: I do not, however, like the shoes in the picture.

I always think long skirts look best on really petite people or really tall people. I'm in the middle and I just don't love them on me although there's one at Ann Taylor Loft on clearance that I'm thinking about getting.
I wear knee-length skirts ALL THE TIME - almost every day in the summer.
