To me, I like that she doesn't surprise. Many of the most consistent and stylish designers (De La Renta, Herrera, etc.) do not go from ladylike to boho. That is what works for them. Laura may not win, but I am feeling the consistency and clear direction.

I agree Soror- it's like Lily Pullitzer- her stuff all looks alike, but that's why people buy it- the quality and 'look'.

^^
Exactly. Lilly is unchanged. Speaking of which, my sister (non-Greek) got a $100 gift certificate that she won in a raffle. I need to snatch it and buy me something.

Back on track, though. Hope that Vincent, Jeffrey or Angela goes home tonight. Those three need to be gone.

That would bore me absolutely to tears. I appreciate Laura's clean, elegant style and I would not expect extreme changes. What I would want is every now and again, instead of you always placing the bow on the left, let's try for the right this time. If she wants to win, she may have to really extend herself and show that she's not a one-note designer. Now, once she has WON, she can go back to the same mid-waist, creepily sternum/clavicle baring dresses she seems to have a liking for.

Hey she and hubby have the money to raise them, so we can't knock it!

Also- HATE Jeff. He made someone's mom CRY folks. I mean damn!

This is the first week where I really hated what Laura designed. The minute she said "nautical theme" I knew I was going to hate it, and I did.

On the other end of the spectrum, I want Michael's dress. I want it RIGHT NOW. That was gorgeous!

As for Jeff--- he made someone's mom cry, and was not apologetic in the least. And the outfit was U.G.L.Y., you ain't got no albi, UGLY.

As for Michael-- I hope he knows that he was in not just because he had immunity.... I wish we could have seen it in reverse....

when I saw that lady standing next to michael kors at the tavern on the green, I thought "oh, that's his sister", but that was his mom!!?? she looks fantatstic!

jeffery really needs to be auf'd next because him nor robert had the range to design for the full figured and it showed in their outfits. like vincent said, it's not all about the perfect size 26 waist.

I would have legitimately gone temporarily insane if he would have spoken to my mom like that. My mom is a pretty even tempered lady, so she would have tried to remain polite. However, I would have had to drop what I was doing w/my own design and FLY over to his table to check him. I was pissed for Angela and her mom. Oh and yes, the dress looked a fugly mess. Any woman would have left that item on the rack, if it would have even made it that far.
