today was the first round of parties! i was so surprised how little nervous i was. i was so excited to be there!! my pi chi's are such great girls, they made little nametags for our bags and were attentive to every need we had! i made a few friends in my pi chi group as well.

--the first party was "Tinkerbell" and while all the girls were welcoming i just didnt feel like i fit in at all.

--next up was "Aurora". and while i was enjoying their company, the majority of the girls i talked to didnt seem like they were into it that much. there was also another thing that i think hindered my experience but i think that will make me or this house obvious for girls to guess.

--third party was "Pocahontas" and i felt really comfortable with this house. i felt at ease and all the girls were more my type than the first two. i could possibly see myself there..

--fourth party was "Ariel" and i loved this house! the girls were so dedicated and i could tell they really worked hard and cared alot about it and the philanthropy. i felt comfortable and i got along with all the girls really well. i could see myself here as a sister.

--fifth party was "Cinderella" and i felt a little awkward going in, but quickly loosened up and enjoyed my visit. the girls i talked to were very passionate about their philanthropy and i liked that. i am hoping i warm up to them some more in the coming day(s).

--sixth party was "Belle" and as of right now they are my absolute favorite house. i felt very at ease there and i felt like i fit in well. the girls were very sweet and they shared some good stories with me. i could definitly see myself here as a sister.

--seventh party was "Jasmine" and i enjoyed myself at this house as well. i got along with the girls very well and felt very comfortable here. they were very down to earth and it was so much fun going over their scrapbook and hearing some crazy stories from their past events.

and last but not least.. "Snow White". i had amazing convo's with all the girls i talked to. i really hit it off with the first sister, we had like 4 major things in common so it was really fun talking to her! most likely i could see myself here as well.

so at the end of the parties, we had to narrow the sororities from 8 to 6. so i ranked as follows:

1 Belle
1 Ariel
1 Jasmine
2 Snow White
3 Cinderella
3 Pocahontas

..and i dropped..
Tinkerbell
Aurora

tomorrow we can be invited back to as many as 6 parties..i hope i get that many!!

so hopefully i dont get a scary phone call tonight..or 4 am lol.

Twinkle that is great. I am glad to hear that you are having a great time. I am eager to hear which chapter is which. All of the chapters at USF are great and I know that you will find your home!

im back from day two! it was so HOT today..like hotter than yesterday.ok enough about the weather lets get to the good stuff!!

so i got my invites back this morning and i was invited back to:
Belle (yay!!!)
Jasmine (yay!!)
Snow White
Pocahontas
and Tinkerbell (which is strange b/c i dropped them yesterday, so i didnt know u could get ones u dropped back on ur party list..would someone like to explain?)

so i was disappointed i wasnt invited back to Ariel, but im really happy i got my other top 2 (Belle and Jasmine).

first party was Jasmine and i had the best time making their craft. i had really good, flowing convo's with each girl and again i felt really comfortable. love it!!

next was Tinkerbell..and just like yesterday i felt welcome but i just cant imagine being sister here.

next was Snow White and today wasnt as good as yesterday in this house. The first girl was really nice but was really really nervous. she asked the same question 3 times. The second girl was like, shy or something. i asked the majority of the questions! she only asked me like 1 or 2 and then i was pretty much forced to ask b/c there was silence. then the third girl was more attentive and interesting but she seemed distracted.

after lunch i made my way to Pocahontas and had really good conversations here as well.

and finally was Belle and i just love this house. i just feel so comfortable and happy when im here. i got along great with all the girls and even a girl that talked to me yesterday came up and told me how glad she was that i was back

so i only had to eliminate one today so i put Tinkerbell again. i really getting excited for the next few days..hopefully soon ill have a place to call home!!!

Because you didn't "drop" them, they just weren't your first choice. Recruitment is a mutual selection process. It means that while you preferred to go back to the houses on the top of your list, some of those houses did not invite you back. Because Tinkerbell did, in order to give you as full a party list as possible, you have to go back to their party. It's Panhels way of helping you maximize your options.

so today it rained..i got wet..bleh but the day went on.

so when i got my invite list today i was a bit disapointed to see that i wasnt invited back to Belle. i really liked the girls there and could totally see myself being a sister. i guess it just wasnt meant to be. i did however get my other top 2 houses so that is a blessing actually i was invited back to the max amount of parties so i was surprised. here is how it went down today:


first up was Pocahontas and there wasnt anything that spectacular. the girls i talked to today were friendly but nothing much else.

next was Tinkerbell again..and i really dont like this house. i have ranked them last every day so far and i still havent changed my opinon. i just feel weird there.

next was Snow White and it was amazing. it seems the girls were so happy to have me back! i felt really comfy here

last but not least was Jasmine and i had good convos here too. i love this house and one of the girls from yesterday was glad to see me back today too. i feel so amazing here!

so tomorrow is pref day. im almost done!! im excited. so far my ranking is as follows

1 Jasmine
1 Snow White
2 Pocahontas
3 Tinkerbell

who knows what will happen tomorrow!!
