Those are all high-quality, expensive sunglasses that can be worn on a golf course or boat and aren't really ugly.

The sunglasses Shinerbock posted are probobly the best that you can buy for fishing.....either fly fishing......in a boat, on land, in the ocean. I could give a crap if you think they are hideous or not. I'm not looking to be stylish when I fish or when I play golf. I'm guessing you are somewhat of a metrosexual if you actually think about style in those situations.
Frankly, I wouldn't be caught dead in a pair of overpriced, crappy, completely useless faggoty designer sunglasses.
Please, though.....show me what you should wear when playing golf or out in a boat.....since you are the expert and all.

actually, i don't really care what you wear when you're doing anything. if you want to not look nice when you're doing it, fine by me. nothing metro-sexual about wanting to look good. apparently, you don't need that, lol.

Well, for golf its usually some form of Ralph Lauren golf clothing, slacks or shorts depending on the weather.
Fishing....I wear fishing clothes....like any normal person. Columbia PFGs, Magellan fishing shirts.....and usually Patagonia or North Face fishing apparel.
........Sunglasses........I wear the best that you can buy for the situatuion, whether its fishing or playing golf. For me, its Costa Del Mars or Bolles. Any other situation its usually Maui Jims or Ray Bans.
.....but If you think looking good is presenting yourself like the 6 gentlemen above.....then I really don't have anything else to say.

Wow...And you must have your masters in fashion design. Or maybe you have your own line of clothing. Or maybe you're an expert in judging men.

No, not a fashion designer......I just dont think untucked vertical striped, fly collar, popped shirts underneath Argyle sweaters with baggy designer jeans and guido style shoes looks good. At all. The designer, probobly fake, sunglasses at night only adds to the ridiculousness.
And if I wore those clothes or acted like any of those fags on Project Runway I would kick my own ass.
.....but seeing as how you are both from Miami and San Diego respectively.....we probobly don't share the same views on fashion, at all.

Sorry kids, but I'm not gonna throw on a pair of Dior glasses before I head out on the water. Maybe big cheap glasses with sparkly crap on the side is what looks good where you're from, but then again we're not as prone to fads as you guys. We'll just stick to what works. On a side note, just because they're expensive does not make them quality. I highly doubt most designer sunglasses are made by the designer, but rather cheaply and mass produced and sent to the designer to decorate. Its pretty similar to designer watches that'll set you back 500-600 bucks, but are using the same quartz movement you can find in any $10 fake rolex.

Shinerbock,
Does it make you feel good to try and make things seem so different. I bet if a black person and a white person bought the same item of clothing at the same store, and wore it in the same fashion, you would still describe the black person as urban or thuggish. I am also not sure who you are referring to with the "you guys", but I attend the MOST prestigious school in the south and I will tell you that everyone on that campus is prone to fads. It really seems as if you have a complex that compels you to feel superior, but it really makes you come off as being a prick. Why do you try so hard to appear as if you are the expert on old money high fashion? You probably don't have a membership to a country club or even own a boat. Sweetie, we all know that not every white person is rich or a member of the club, and you should accept that too.

I don't know what you're talking about regarding the black/white thing. It sounds like you're trying to portray me as some sort of racist/classist. Unfortunately, darling, you're not the first to make this completely banal attempt at attacking my credibility. There are a lot of things that white kids do that I don't consider very "white." Now, just because I don't really consider something very "white" does not mean I consider it to be a black thing. There is much that white kids have taken from popular black culture, but this is obviously not always the case. Just because something is urban, does not make it a black v. white issue. I only use the term "white" because it was brought up earlier by someone else. To relieve your fears about boat ownership, my family has a 21 foot triton bass boat, and my dad recently sold our Cobia to a family friend. However, I was unaware that activities such as fishing and golfing make you an elitist...
Also, I don't think you'll ever hear me or anyone with ideas similar to me saying things like all white people are members of a country club. I don't even have the desire that they be. I DO, however, prefer people who act and dress in a classy and adult manner. When I said "you people," I was referring to people on this thread who disagree with me and others with similar viewpoints. One thing you'll notice about southern people, is that often even the trends have purposes. We don't generally wear things because they're popular on E or MTV or BET, but rather because they're quality and serve a purpose. Costa Del Mar's are perhaps the best fishing and boating sunglasses on earth. Other things that southern kids enjoy would be brands like Patagonia that make high quality outdoor clothing. Sure, some people wear it because it is popular, but many of us wear it because it is intelligently designed and can stand up to wear. So when I compare "us" to "you people," I am noting a difference between what becomes popular in specific sections of society. Hell, even our rainbow sandals have a warranty. Now obviously other sections of the country enjoy similar items, but this argument is a product of the costa del mar/maui jim v. Chanel/Dior sunglasses debate. I'm not trying to draw attention to myself, I'm trying to keep the sun out of my eyes while checking out girls on campus...I mean, fishing.

you probably have no sense of fashion at all. cowboy boots and a greasy flannel with random bar-b-que stains don't particularly look nice.

Those aren't all Dior sunglasses, the other two pairs are Spy Optics. They make sunglasses targeted mostly to surfers and snowboarders, and they're excellent quality (and most of them are polarized).
