WOW, I didn't know ppl got so mad over some things. Like, the stories of ppl rockin' a shirt because it matched etc. is clearly unacceptable. But touching canes paddles etc., I've never heard of anyone flipping over that. As a matter of fact, some of my boys who are Kappas were teaching me how to twirl with their canes! I don't see the big deal with people touching my things, like I have a family paddle that is 5 feet tall, and OF COURSE, people are drawn to it, and other gifts that I received upon crossing, jewelry boxes, pillows etc. people want to see, so I don't mind if they pick them up and look at them [they can't LAY on them, but they can look]. I feel like sometimes people cross the line of "worshiping" these things. While I will NOT let my letters be disrespected, I don't mind people "touching" my things. And there have been times when I was with my ex, who's an Alpha, at a greek event, and I may be cold he'd ask if I wanted his line Jacket, I never accepted, but it doesn't seem like a big deal to me, I'm not trying to "perp", and it's just not that serious...... now if someone was trying to take down one of my degrees off the wall, THAT'S a different story! I have them nicely framed and I WILL shank someone!! lmao j/k
