Outstanding

I was worn out by DC. I had been in the city a week prior to the Alpha convention attending the NAACP convention. I had car problems and the heat almost killed me. Nontheless, I was energized by the start of convention. The forums were excellent and the fellowship of the brotherhood compared to no other.

There were so many people that I did not have opportunity to meet many folk from GC. I did meet frater Senusret.

I must say that I had a blast in DC last weekend. It was so good seeing a group of intelligent, strong Black men getting together to create history. I got a chance to meet some real cool sorors and phrat during Saturday's picnic @ Howard. It was hot as hayle, but I thoroughly enjoyed myself nonetheless.
Rashid, it was god to fianlly meet you in person. I'm eagerly awaiting the PM and pictures.
Sphinxpoet, I would have been most upset if I didn't see my ZZL brethren in the mix. Thanks for making this soror smile.

Thumbs up Yes I bumped this thread!

Reading this (I am wondering how the hell did I miss it) made me think of all those excellent centennial moments! That was my first convention and definitely one I am glad I had the chance to attend.
