That's a lot of speculation, docet. We shall see. Colorado recently had its scandal in which the NCAA did nothing, Ohio State and USC have had their issues. In none of those cases have players actually been dismissed from the team. It's my opinion that Stoops wanted to send a message, and I think he sent it well. There are some decent QBs on campus including a JC who was actually pushing Bomar this summer -- not to mention Thompson who started the first game in '05.

After reading your post, I went over to some NU boards -- lots of conspiracy theorists over there. I'm sure we'll see.

Just to be clear, i'm just repeating what others are saying...I don't necessarily buy into what others are saying could happen, especially since my only source of information about this is from online. It'll be interesting to see what happens, definitely.

This statement could not POSSIBLY be true, period -- unless you're referring to, like, the ACTUAL university itself, like BUILDINGS and stuff.

Sorry Amy. It isn't possible.

USC probably hates crime. Especially given that their students have to dodge bullets on the way to class.

My personal opinion is that nobody from a big time football school should point fingers at anyone else's big time football school.

There may well be great big skeltons in a lot of big time closets.

All the more reason to just start paying these athletes.

As much money as they make for their schools, anything less is ridiculous. As much work as these guys have to put in being student athletes, they deserve a salary.
