Plus, how much do you want to bet Hope's baby will turn out perfectly normal, when the chances of her having a child with Downs and other birth defects have significantly increased due to her age.
Seriously, I know soaps aren't realistic, but that storyline is just downright stupid.

While I do think it's silly that so many young people (Mimi, Belle, Carrie) are having trouble conceiving, the individual scenarios aren't totally unrealistic. As in Mimi's case, it's not terribly uncommon for women to become infertile after having an abortion. As for Belle, well Phillip has low sperm motility, which isn't that terribly uncommon either. And then Hope... if you knew my in-laws you'd know that some people are just really fertile. And while the odds of birth defects do go way up after age 35 it definitely isn't impossible for a woman to have a normal child. My mother-in-law was at least 40 when she had her 11th and last child, and he's normal. But I see what you're saying. Many of the Days storylines are just plain dumb.

My money is on Kate being the black gloved person. She is the only one who hasn't been on for a few episodes except she wouldn't do that to Philip so I don't know. Ok I'm not thinking Stefano or some long lost brother/son of his. Could it be the new red head cousin? Too many possibilities!

AMEN TO THAT!!!!!
Kristen was one of my favorite characters!!!!!
That would be sweet if she were back. Plus, it would just be another thorn in John and Marlena's side (cause let's face it it wouldn't be a soap if they (the writers) weren't always trying to break them up. LOL)

Well now I think there must be at least 2 black gloves, because one was in Salem and one was in Cincinnati. I don't know who it could be, but it's looking more and more like a DiMera is involved. Especially since Kayla and Steve have mentioned it... and we all know that nothing is mentioned on soaps for no reason.

The "Days" spoiler site says it's not WHO the gloves are but who they WORK for. Interesting!

Question:
I read that Belle keeps saying that she is so happy that she is pregnant with Shawn's child. I'm slightly confused by this. I know that the black gloved person pulled the whole switcharoo, but wasn't it done twice (as discussed earlier in the thread)? I remember the first time the lids were switched, I'm not sure what happened the second time, but either way how the heck would they "know" already? Doesn't that kind of aleviate the fun that could come from them (Mimi and Belle) carrying children they think are theirs with their hubby's and then finding out when the kids are like two, that OMG they aren't!
UGH, could Lexie just spill about what Sami actually made her do. I'm so tired of this storyline. I just want Austin and Carrie back together and Sami to be smacked in the face. LOL.
