If this forum becomes the same as the other, I will lock it.

AI is a forum/thread that is to aid those who are looking to AI, not belittle them or make snide remarks!

It is need as has been seen by so many great ladys who have been Initiated within the bond of GLOs.

All one has to do is look around and see!
Honestly you should go ahead and lock, it's off topic and I don't want the morning people to pick this back up again.

If you don't want to be on the AI thread, then don't. Those of us there now seem to be doing just fine

If a forum where you pretend to be corn is what you want, then go right ahead and have it lol.

Lol well actually i'm being the farmer.

There's a lot of downtime in AI and I'm THRILLED that they're filling it by not getting disheartened...

The PNAMs decided to each pick crops that represented themselves... it's really a metaphor that they've been playing with. It's rather entertaining actually and it's not at all negative.

So one's corn and another's grapes, etc...

I'm surprised that no one has brought up (it has been brought up in the past in places) that perhaps GC has inadvertantly created a bigger market for AIs than many of our groups ever intended.

My sorority isn't in the market for vegetables, so I don't really think we have anything to worry about right now.

We're all about the nuts, but only to feed the squirrels, tee hee!

I see all these references to crops, and I keep hearing this song in my head:
I expect everyone of my crowd to make fun
Of my proud protestations of faith in romance,
And they'll say I'm naïve as a babe to believe
Every fable I hear from a person in pants.

Fearlessly I'll face them and argue their doubts away,
Loudly I'll sing about flowers in spring,
Flatly I'll stand on my little flat feet and say
Love is a grand and a beautiful thing!
I'm not ashamed to reveal
The world famous feelin' I feel.

I'm as corny as Kansas in August,
I'm as normal as blueberry pie.
No more a smart little girl with no heart,
I have found me a wonderful guy!

I am in a conventional dither,
With a conventional star in my eye.
And you will note there's a lump in my throat
When I speak of that wonderful guy!

I'm as trite and as gay as a daisy in May,
A cliché comin' true!
I'm bromidic and bright
As a moon-happy night
Pourin' light on the dew!

I'm as corny as Kansas in August,
High as a flag on the Fourth of July!
If you'll excuse an expression I use,
I'm in love, I'm in love,
I'm in love, I'm in love,
I'm in love with a wonderful guy!

A cliché comin' true!

I'm in love with a wonderful guy!!!!!!!!!

That is a very good question isnt it?

Is it wrong for growth?

Why not ask the AI's on site and see what they think!

I am damn proud of everyone of them and they seem to be harder workers to add this little point!

That is not for you to decide. You are not a member of an NPC sorority.

That is not for the PNAI's to decide as they are also not members of our sororities.

There have been mulitple AI's who have expressed extreme displeasure with what the AI forum has turned into.

This is just another demonstration of your absolute lack of respect for NPC orgs, their policies and their members.

You mean when this happens:

Hi, I went through rush 6 times at two or three different colleges and universities, but I never received a bid (or, in the alternative, I didn't go through because I knew I wouldn't get a bid). Now that I've graduated, I'm still feeling the bitter sting of rejection. Hey, what's this neat site called Greek Chat? Oh wow, look! There is a light! It is called Alumnae Initiation! Oh, but now all my dreams can come true! I will take years to pursue every possible organization until one accepts me! Yes!

You forgot "And everyone at Greekchat tells me I should go for it and will totally get in because I wasn't successful before, so I must be more acceptable now!!! I must be awesome! I'm contacting these 10 groups right now! I'm going to name them after Sesame Street characters! Then I can watch grown women making up cheers for Elmo or Big Bird!!"

But we're not supposed to talk about it because it would be discouraging, and would prevent people from naming their choices after bacterial infections!
