I could use some decent earbud-style headphones for less than $50 or so. Is there such a thing? I got the Apple ones and they're okay, but I don't love them. They're hard to position just right and move around too much when I'm running, plus it's super annoying when the cord hits anything -- you can hear it.

I just got an iPod Nano and I have a question.

I'm pretty sure all my music is downloaded and my battery is charged, however, it keeps flashing Do Not Disconnect at me. What does this mean, and when will it let me disconnect.

It flashes that when the computer is still on. When you turn the computer off, the "Do Not Disconnect" will fade and you'll go right back to the normal screen.

Collin is right - this is the "charging" message.

It means the USB link is still 'solid' and it's receiving power from an outside source - if it's linked to the computer, you can either right-click the USB icon on the task bar (it's a gray thing with a green arrow over the top, when you hold the mouse over it it will say "Safely Remove Hardware") and use the "stop" command, or you can right-click on your iPod's name in iTunes and hit "eject" to stop it.

If it's plugged into another source, there's no file-transfer link (just charging) so you can most likely just pull it out, although if it's docked it may be helpful to turn off/unplug what it's docked to.

Thanks guys for your help. I tried using the "stop" feature but it said it couldn't do it. I just ended up turning off my computer and everything was fine.
