Yeah they're good at that.
I have 3 younger siblings so I hit pretty much every kid "trend" that came along...
Barney was the worst

My daughter is 21 months old, and we already have a NO BARNEY rule in my house.

I actually liked Thomas though.

It was like that in the beginning but then it was reversed...He doesn't watch anything other than Baby Einstein/Little Einstein/Backyardigans/or Barney...all other cartoons are banned.

My brother and I would watch Nickalodeon all afternoon. Apparently nobody else watched these shows because none of my brother's college friends believed him when he told them he used to watch a cartoon about a koala that came to life when a named Sandy rubbed noses with it. They all thought my brother was making stuff up. The show, by the way, is Noozles.
We also liked watching:
David the Gnome
Maya the Bee
Adventures of the Little Koala
Today's Special
Count Duckula
Inspector Gadget
We watched a lot of tv.

What do you think about Lazy Town.. i've only seen moments of it, but it looks WEIRD.
