And Star knows it. She knew they would jump on that soundbite if she said the words "I was fired" in succession. She's not a brainless, helpless puppet of the media. I think that's what grates on so many people's nerves - she IS smart enough to beat the media at their own game if she wanted to, instead she is giving them exactly what they want - petty drama.
