One thing I think is interesting is how we're all speculating as to what happened. I didn't watch the Larry King interview so maybe someone that did can fill us all in.
It seems to me like there simply was an agreement made behind the scenes to handle Star's departure/termination in a certain manner (i.e. announcing it on Thursday). When Star decided to not handle it in the agreed upon manner, they asked her not to return to work. I could see the same thing happening in any sort of business, not only a t.v. show.
