You are right ladygreek, but I didn't want to confuse the OP as she's not talking about NPHC groups. And I really didn't want her to walk up to an Alpha or Kappa and say "Hey frat boy!"

She's been going on and on in the rush forum about NPC rush, so we all figured that's what she was asking about.

ETA: The reason Sheila didn't want it to seem OK to her is because if she's going through NPC rush at UFC, saying "frat" during rush can and probably will get her dropped from that house.

Why do you keep speaking for others? I saw you do that in the Kappa Delta forum also. Let those people speak for themselves. Maybe Sheila had different reasons other than what you stated.

If Sheila has a problem with what I said, then as you stated, she can speak for herself, she doesn't need your help. In the other case, I was the one that made the (joking) suggestion, so I told dani what was going on.

Um... thanks for the uh.. defense, I think... but I do not think that "phrase" means what you think it means. Most guys don't want their uh.. Wang... uh.. filled by anything....

Every year, 100s of women join UCF sororities. They know virtually nothing about Greek Life and PC terminology. They get bids because they have good applications and they're nice people. And if you were dating a guy, the question was never, "Is he in a fraternity?" or "What fraternity is he in?" 99 times out of 100 you would be asked "What is he?"-- the response to which could be any of the fraternities or the succinct "GDI" (to which the person would respond "Ohhh" and walk away).
