I don't know if Coulter has the ability to make fun of herself enough to appear on the Daily Show.

Yeah, I think ComCen is pulling the reingns in on them. They've been going softer for a while now.

Jon Stewart vs. Ann Coulter - there's something I'd like to see.

That would be highly amusing!

If one of you could organise it for her to be on my radio show it'ld be more so. Theres nothing I like more than taking the piss out of extremists from all sides.

Do you really think you can yell louder than they do? That seems to be the MO for talk radio and TV these days.

That plus being rude.

I loooooove Ann Coulter. "How to Talk to a Liberal(If you must)" was the first book I ever read by her and I could not stop laughing.

"Historically, the best way to convert liberals is to have them move out of their parents' home, get a job, and start paying taxes...."

GREAT STUFF.

I like her too and I also thought that "How to Talk to a Liberal..." was hilarious.

I don't yell on air. Its just something that is not done and it also comes out pretty bad acoustically to the audience, so yelling on air is a big "No-No".

Also how was I being rude? If you ask questions that are challenging the validity of their beliefs therefore making them think, while still giving them a proper chance to answer the question and therefore explain their perspectives, therefore keeping a level of impartiality while also asking the questions in a manner that is amusing yet serious to all concerned, i.e. the interviewer, interviewee and the audience, how could you call that being rude?

Seriously, I try to treat most of the people I interview, no matter what their political affiliation might be, in that manner, which most of society would still consider respectful, while making something thats normally as dull as anything, interesting to listen in to.

If you can't ask people the tough questions esspecially if its in the manner described above, whats the point of either listening to or being in the media? Seriously...

I was talking about her, not you.

All of the political talk hosts seem to thrive by being rude to their guests, being loud and not letting them get a word in edgewise.

(I would disagree that yelling on the air is an acoustic or electronic problem. Listen to almost any sports broadcast. The problem is for whomever is mixing the show. If proper levels are maintained, and proper distance from the microphone (which varies by instrument), there won't be a problem. This is almost 40 years of professional broadcast production and engineering speaking.)
