How about I just saw a little girl my daughter goes to school with wearing those doctor shoes? When did they become stylish? It doesn't look like they'd be comfy if your feet sweat.

My sister in law,who is a nurse and on her feet for several hours a shift, swears by her Dansko's. They don't look very comfy to me. I told her to buy a pair of Birk's instead. Crocs are the ugliest things ever. I don't care how comfy they are.

Danskos are better than Birks for standing long periods because of the way they elevate your heel. I have to stand up for longish periods of time, so they're a godsend. At least I can look somewhat professional in them, which I can't say for Crocs.
