So you're basically saying that petite sizes don't really matter, and that we shouldn't be complaining that stores are cutting back. I have spoken with many short people, and they have said that they'd rather wear petites than regular sizes.
A hemmed suit jacket in a regular size still won't fit as well as an actual petite sized jacket.
