I'm not a country fan at all, but I do like the Dixie Chicks (yay for their new album being more rock!). What celebrities say/do shouldn't have any effect on whether you like their movies/music/whatever.
And amanda, why do they offend you just because you're a vet? They don't offend me, in any way, and I'm the daughter of a vet who died because of war related injuries when I was 8. Not liking our president, and not supporting the war, in no way means that I don't support the troops. I don't support them being over there, I don't support them fighting in a war that is useless and hypocritical, but I support the troops themselves.
I've never understood the big controversy over their comments...everyone has opinions, it's the brave ones that voice them.
