Some threads remind me of a song I remember from summer camp:

This is the song that never ends, it will go on and on, my friends. Some people started singing and did not not know what it was, but they keep on singing it only just because this is the song that never ends, it will go on......

I think what my fellow Rolling Rock fan is trying to say is that the questions in some threads (i.e. "What are the elite sororities") will NEVER be answered to everyone's satisfaction. It's just people voicing opinions (sometimes the same ones) over and over again ad naseum. There will never be a resolution to the question because all of the "good" answers (They're ALL elite, depends on the chapter, etc.) have been posted already. I mean, The Good Lord Himself could come down and write what the elite sororities are and yet someone would write back disagreeing.

I think it is different, however, with posts regarding rush experiences or top ten whatever or road rage stories because people all have different stories to contribute and you're not reading the same thing over and over.
