I think Rory would've told Logan not to go if she hadn't had the conversation she had with Mitchem in the elevator, which I'd guess left her feeling selfish.
I wanted to SLAP Lorelai for avoiding Luke's phone calls and hiding when he came to the house and everything. IT WAS SOO STUPID. I also wanted to slap Luke for not going after her when she finally talked to him.

You took the words straight from my mouth, or rather the thoughts from my head I should say. I HATED the pot and singing storylines... so stupid!
And yeah, I think Rory would've stopped him if she didn't talk to Mitchem and realize that he kinda needed to go for a least a lil while to grow up some.
And yeah, Lorelei was stupid and then Luke was.
