Do my kids count? No.....ok, well then I have a 10 1/2 year-old German Shepherd/ Lab/wolf mix named Ajax (she's a girl) and my Christmas present, a 6 month-old Yorkshire Terrier named Maximus, Max for short (a boy obviously.) I worried a little bit about bringing Max into the household with Ajax because she could basically eat him in one bite. She is about the size of a typical female lab, but she is a little bit "special" because of the wolf in her. We once witnessed her tear the throat out of a Pit Bull that threatened my husband....yes you read that right. She weighs about 55 lbs and is fast as hell. Maxi is only 5 lbs, up over a lb and 1/2 from when we first brought him home.....nothing more to say about that. But he is fearless! He attacks her whenever and wherever possible and they play like old buddies.....it's pretty cool. I always wanted a lap dog (or what I affectionately refer to as a purse dog) and Max rocks!

Yeah...the above quote is over two years old....I love the way these threads get brought back from the dead...so since two dogs is never enough, we now have a third....Lilly, a completely psychotic Rhodesian Ridgeback puppy we rescued. She was SUPPOSED to be my daughter's for Christmas, but my hubby adores her and has taken her over. Now the plan is, when something happens to Ajax (which I am now convinced will not be until she is 20) we are going to get Paige another little Yorkie like my Maxi....now Max has Lilly to be crazy with and Ajax mostly gets left alone, which is good because she HATES Lilly.
