I'm sure the Todd McShay's and Mel Kiper's of the world know far more than I do, but I don't get what's so special about this guy. He's got talent, but it seems like he was way more inconsistent than what you would want with a #1 pick. Then again some of the same things were said about Julius Peppers (that he took plays off, wasn't consistent enough), and he ended up just fine.
I guess they think Davis will be more than fine as their RB. I'd love to be the Saints right now, their phones must be ringing off the hook.
