I suffer from Migraines and I use Exedrine for Migraines. I get all of the symptons as well - but I definitely have to be in the dark with a cold towel on my face. I get really hot and if I move it feels like my head is going to fall off. (I'm laughing as I am saying this but it is true). My doctor said the pain from the headache brings on a panic attack - that is why I get hot and shaky.
I have noticed some relief since changing my birth control pills and suprisingly - since having a breast reduction.
The pressure on the back and shoulders can cause severe headaches.
Usually a stiff cup of coffee and an Exedrine works for me. Also, catch it before it catches you is my motto. I try to take something as soon as I feel a little pain.
