well, apparently they said if it was that much of a struggle, she should get a tutor instead of going to the thing on chapter nights, but she says she isn't going to find a tutor who will come over at midnight (one she's finished with everything) and go over every single homework problem, like they do in the learning center. she even said that if they could find someone like that for her, she would do it, but her EC just acted like she wasn't putting in the effort by finding a tutor who would. i think the problem is that she's one of the only girls with that major, so there isn't anyone else who understands that she needs those sessions. mostly she's getting so upset that she's getting brought up for something beyond her control that she's really doubting her interest in being a member in the first place, because she assumed academics would come first. it's bothering me because she's my younger cousin so i feel a little protective, and she's the only other greek in my family so i wouldn't want her to quit. she's not at danger of being kicked out or anything, i think they would just make her do an extra project or something, but she's upset about being brought up for something like this in the first place and it makes her not very happy with her house... and honestly i've never heard anything like it before.
