i just returned home to chicago from iowa city - the fire started around 9 am as i was on my way to my literature class - it was crazy, all the streets were blocked off, classes in the pentacrest were evacuated, you could actually see the flames comeing out of the dome - a pretty scary sight considering the times and considering that it hits so close to home for me. luckily i don't think anyone was hurt - but the city will never be the same
