I'm a Delta Nu Teke and that story is really one for the archives!
I'd never heard it and I've met Frater Logan. I too was at the 85 Conclave in Orlando and still remember it to this day. (I can't hear a Neal Diamond tune and not think of that time in Orlando.)
Frater Logan invited me out to his home once when I was living in KC. I met he and his wife Helga I believe. Their home was a real showplace. Then he took me and my now wife out to dinner at the Lake Quivera Country Club. What a memory. It's great to pass stories like this along. As I recall that visit to his home, he had lots of red velvet in the drapes and sofas chairs etc. in his home. He is definetly a Teke for life....and on and on....
