While flipping around last Sunday before the Super Bowl, I happened across the documentary. Unfortunately, I only saw the last hour of the documentary. But what I was was excellent. In both content and production.
In that short hour, I felt privileged to learn so much about the history of Alpha Phi Alpha. Not just seeing the commitment of the men of Alpha Phi Alpha to their fraternity but also their their aggressive vision of service - from the past, in the present, and for the future. It is truly inspirational.
All in all, I highly recommend catching this documentary. Hopefully, it will be shown again locally and I'll be able to see the first hour. If it is half as good as the last hour, then it should be a treat.
