polarpi, Sweetie, you keep getting pulled back to the Steelers because we ARE The Steelers!! We are the come-back kids this year, but have a rich heritage of winning FOUR Super Bowls - and later on tonight, that will become FIVE!!!

I have cousins north of Seattle, in Port Something, and friends in Tacoma. It's a gorgeous area, but there's not the heart there that's in Pittsburgh and a few other towns. Maybe it's the Starbucks on every corner....

Well, I guess we have to be enemies for today, then...I was coming (before the game started) to say that I finally figured out who I would root for today. Since the Seahawks WERE an AFC team (and a AFC West team to boot) that I hold no extreme dislike for, I'm rooting for them to win today.

So, to join CougADPi and Jill1228 as one of the few vocal supporters on this thread....

GO SEAHAWKS!!!!

(And at around 11pm Eastern Time, we can go back to loving and living for each other )

Congrats to Honey and the other Steeler fans. It was a hard fought game on both parts but it seems like it was just Pittsburgh's day.

Oh well, we're still number 2! Yay SEAHAWKS...we will always be proud of you guys!!!

You're a good sport, CougADPi!! I think an article I read on Yahoo said it all: both teams made a lot of mistakes, but in the end, Seattle (with that last drive!) made more. Not a pretty win by anyone's standards, but we'll take it!!

Hines Ward, MVP

I will be putting black & gold flowers on my daddy's grave tomorrow! I know that he's not there, but it would have made him feel great!

And to all of my Westerly-favored sisters: better luck next year! It was a fun run!
