I agree. In fact, I agree with everything else you said. Handbags are easy to recognize; clothes, not so much (unless it's, say, Lilly Pulitzer or something like you mentioned).
My mom made my white dress for Bid Day, and it looked just as good as everyone else's store-bought ones.
