c. Lester H. Martin, Arthur Heinlein, and L.W. Tuesburg, along with a deligation of actives from Alpha chapter, paid a visit to Chi Rho Sigma, a local fraternity at Millikin University in Decatur Illinois.
this established a still standing practice of thoroughly investigating prospective TKE chapters before offering them admission.

Does TKE IHQ carry any more copies of the Golden Book of TKE? It would be interesting to read. They must have made more than one edition to it. I am not asking for a original. I am sure there are some interesting things in there.

The Golden Book of TKE
I had an original , gave it to my home chapter (Omicron Kappa)about 15 years agao - haven't seen it since. (oh, well). There is an original copy in the Archives at HQ, but not sure where you would get another copy except to check University Library. A member of Mu Zeta showed me an original version 2 weeks ago - he found it in the Univ library.
Since it was registered with Library of Congress, they would have a copy, perhaps can review online (microfilm?)

you signed mine when you were in CO awaiting the platter
of bull fries which we've saved for you. YITB, Erik

Attn: Bull Fries at Denver!
Yes, you are right, it is "Erik", not "Eric", and can only plead that I was temporarily SANE at the time. Ergo, please forgive my transgression and I promise not to tell anyone that you have a dead chapter in your back yard that you promised me two years ago would be a colony in 12 months!
Aha!
Love you anyway. (HUG)

You are abolutely right, TRod, I have not yet found that needed
spark plug to help reactivate Gamma Tau, Denver U, and we
have a board + advisor ready to go. Yes, I have not performed
here and not afraid to admit it...but not failed...still working on it!
But we do have an interest group on another campus...and I am
not ready to uncoil that info. yet. TKE's best years in CO are now
While you are at it, dear readers, is there a dead TKE chapter in
your neighborhood? Why not adopt this as a project, stop denying good men a chance to be a Teke. By the way, about 80% of our new charterings are reactivations....going back to a
campus where we'd stubbed our toes...right on, we need to get
more of those orphan chapters back! YITB, Erik of Denver
