RC is currently 7-3 in the playoffs . . . I say give the points, take the Steelers.
The Seahawks have the best o-line in football, but I'm not sure their receivers can get loose enough to really exploit the PIT secondary - I mean, if Denver couldn't, I doubt the 'hawks can. That leaves PIT able to put the 'seven-and-a-half' in the box w/ Polamalu . . . we know how this ends, don't we?

OTW: Of COURSE I'd thank her! She's part of the reason why I fell in love w/ our Hawks so quickly.
And as to why she hasn't posted yet.. I think she's trying to register for the season ticket holder lottery for Superbowl tix! (at ~$650 each!)

33girl: the uniforms changed several years ago. SmartBlonde can give you the scoop (as she patiently answers every question I have about the team). I prefer the new look to the old! Leave the aqua to my old hometown team, the Miami Dolphins.

I looked at the rosters and noticed that both teams have an IU quarterback on the roster! We all know Antwaan Randle El, of course, but I didn't realize Gibran Hamdan (who was ARE's backup and then started for IU in 2002) was on the Seahawks roster.
 | I WISH......

Unfortunately I can't afford the inflated ebay prices and the flights and the hotel prices and my name didn't get picked in the lottery of season ticket holders.

If it hadn't been for Paul Allen, the Seahawks would be an LA team right now. Behring had the HQ moved.

Actually season ticket holders didn't have to sign up, they were automatically entered in the lottery and it happened yesterday. The tickets are the cheap part of the trip.......there's still the hotel and the airfare.
Their uniforms changed when they moved in Qwest Field. They used to be bright blue/bright green accents and now they are navy/grey blue/green accents. It's funny how people always mention the green and there's so very little of it in their uniforms. A line on the sleeve and a green eye on the hawk. I barely even notice it. Of course, they sell stocking caps in that green which are a bit more noticeable.

I will say I'm already looking forward to next year.......

 | When there is no run game to speak of due to their top three backs being out it was kind of easy. Carolina is a run first team and without able bodies they were pretty one dimensional from the start. Chicago and New York had to respect the run and Carolina would get some big plays when they needed to through the air but Delhomme isn't good enough to get things done on his own.

 | I've got a sofa bed..
(I also know the manager of the host hotel for the NFL, but I don't have tickets to anything...)

BUT, I'm rooting for the Steelers. After all, Jerome is a home town boy. They keep interviewing his mom on the news and she's so excited that he's coming HOME for the Super Bowl. She's cute.
